In 2001 Jane Mirandette founded the San Juan Del Sur Bibliotecca Móvil, the first lending library in Nicaragua, which in 2010 includes a mobile project that visits 31 rural communities and the Library in a Box Program is currently helping initiate 35 new lending library programs in Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Honduras and one in Peru. |
